Success
I want to sleep away today
Let my mind play past the last buzz
Of what was my alarm,
Play into sleeping keeping safety in my blanket.
I want to turn over.
I want to side with the sleep I relied on to keep
Last night like a snap of my fingers passing in a moment.
A fraction of who I want to be
While I dream of future me.
Hi Andy,
I’ve not been by your blog to read for a long time and what you are doing here is fantastic. Your photos are brilliant and your writing is more diverse than the last time I visited. I just wanted to drop my two pennies in and say thanks for your poetry. 🙂
Hi Andy,
Nice poem. I can imagine the picture you made through your words. And for that, here’s Jingle’s Butterfly Award for you. http://jingleyanqiu.files.wordpress.com/2010/08/the-butterfly-award.jpg
Have a nice week ahead!
Katherine 🙂
Great poem. I liked the picture you painted. Glad you are still writing. Thanks.
