I guess I should do the same

Is much less popular than Tom.
Two thousand eight hundred and sixty nine
Fans of his and most aren’t mine.
Perhaps I’ll hit two hundred one day
But I’m thankful to be, forty one away.

This is a bit random I guess, but I wrote it based on a status update by American Papist on facebook. Catholic Vote was nearing 3000 facebook fans, and American Papist took it as a challenge to get 3000 too. Anyway, I found it humorous, so I wrote this.
